I was not a plant person, until someone showed me a picture of a wooden plant stand and asked if it was something that I could build. Taking a photo of something happens to be my favorite way to build something new. I love challenging myself to figure out the joinery and style on my own. I find myself buying plants now because I love my plant stands so much. With so many wood combinations, plants sizes and heights, the options are endless.

The first photo of a plant stand shows one that I did for my wonderful Aunt and Uncle. They needed a really tall plant stand to hold a plant up into the sunlight in a small space between their soaker tub and a corner. They were great to work with because they came to me with the dimensions they needed as well as the wood they preferred so all I had to do was build! I love how you can see the sunlight shining on the leaves of their plant in this photo!
